If your file contains headers, the order of the columns does not matter. We then compare by column name. In that case, leave the "File contains headers" option checked.

Does your file contain no headers? Then the order of the columns is crucial. If it does not exactly match what we expect, errors can occur, which we cannot always detect automatically.
For example, if 'date of birth' and 'first name' are swapped, the import is blocked. But if 'first name' and 'last name' are swapped, we can't detect that, and erroneous data results.
Depending on the format selected, additional options may appear.
For example, a CSV import asks for the separator. In Belgium, this is a semicolon (;) by default.

Finally, the date format must match the format in your file.
For example, for '03/04/2025′, it is not clear to us whether this is April 3 or March 4. Therefore, it is important that you select the correct pattern.
