How do I indicate through MyMip that someone is invoking the "Right to be Forgotten"? #
You want to give a contact the status 'Right to be forgotten'. The person can then no longer be found through MyMip and the data will be anonymized behind it. To do this, follow the steps below.
Contact Search #
Log into MyMip.
Search for the contact using the search field at the top of the page or the search option in the contacts module. See also Search for contact.
- Under the contacts module, navigate to the "Relationships" tab.
Update status #
Click on the URN to modify the URN information.
A screen appears on the right.
Click on the drop-down list under "Status" and choose "Right to be forgotten.
Click "Save" to save the changes.
After saving, you can no longer look up the URN/contact person via MyMip, nor is it eligible for communication. Afterwards, the necessary procedures are automatically activated to anonymize the data.
