SFTP – Enable FileZilla

Download FileZilla #

  • Visit the official website:
    https://filezilla-project.org

  • Click on " Download FileZilla Client."

  • Select the correct version for your system:

    • Windows

    • Mac

    • Linux

  • Download the installation file.

Installing FileZilla #

  • Open the downloaded file.

  • Click Install / Next.

  • Leave the default settings as they are.

  • Click Finish to complete the installation.

  • Launch FileZilla.

Log in with your user ID and password #

Add a New Site via File/Site Management

Field What to fill in
Site name Stratics
Protocol SFTP – SSH File Transfer Protocol
Host data.stratics.be
Gate 22 (SFTP)
Login type Normal
User your username
Password your password

Then click Connect.

✅ Tip:
The first time you connect, FileZilla may ask you to trust the server certificate. If so, click OK / Trust.

Uploading or Downloading Files #

Once the connection is established:

  • Links = files on your own computer

  • Right = files on the server

You can move files by:

  • drag and drop
    or

  • Right-click → Upload / Download
