Where can I view and manage a contact's unique IDs? #
You want to know what unique IDs are linked to a contact and possibly manage them. Follow the steps below to do this.
Contact Search #
Log into MyMip.
Search for the contact using the search field at the top of the page or the search option in the contacts module. See also Search for contact.
Summary of unique IDs #
Under the contacts module, navigate to the Unique ID tab.
- You get an overview of all UIDs linked to that particular contact with the following info:
- Unique ID: value of the UID.
- Type: Type of UID.
- From (optional): From when this UID is valid.
- Until (optional): until when this UID was valid.
- Status: active or inactive UID.
- Recentness: When the UID was added/changed.
Customize Unique IDs #
- Some UIDs are customizable. To do so, click on the 3 dots next to the UID and choose 'Edit'.
Depending on the type of UID, the data may or may not be changed (e.g. from/to, value).
Note: Some unique IDs are not editable via MyMip for security reasons. E.g. a UID from an external system (e.g. POS system) cannot be removed or changed, because a contact can then no longer be found in that system or a wrong connection is made.
