Dashboards within myMIP #
myMIP offers a wide range of dashboards to make the data clearer and more tangible. These dashboards are built in Power BI, for which separate access must be requested.
Which dashboards are offered ?

Consulting dashboards #
The activated dashboards can be viewed within myMIP after logging in via your Power BI account on the relevant pages.
This can be done via the menu where the dashboards can be found under the relevant modules. Alternatively, this can be done via the dashboard button at the top of myMIP.
Activate additional dashboards #
If the activated dashboards do not meet your needs and requirements, there is always the option to activate additional dashboards on request, make adjustments to the dashboards in consultation with you, or develop a completely new dashboard. Our experts will then work with you to determine how the necessary insights can best be translated into dashboards and reports for optimal results.
Access to the dashboards #
Access to the dashboards is always offered to myMIP users by default, but must be activated separately for the necessary users.
Conditions of access #
- The user for whom access to the dashboards is requested must also be a myMIP user. This is necessary because the dashboards are provided via the myMIP environment.
- The user requesting access to the dashboards must have (at least) a Power BI Pro license. This is a minimum requirement for sharing external Power BI dashboards. More information about Power BI licenses can be found at https://www.microsoft.com/nl-nl/power-platform/products/power-bi/pricing.
Activate Power BI account #
- Please provide the myMIP user for whom access to the dashboards needs to be activated. Include the following information in this email:
- The myMIP user. If no myMIP account exists for this person yet, please create one first.
- The Power BI account that has a Power BI Pro license.
- You will confirmation within two business days receive access to the dashboards. This email contains:
- A reference to the Power BI account that has been granted access to the dashboards.
- An activation link for accessing the dashboards.
- Each user must confirm access separately via the link provided in the email. This must be the same Power BI account for which access has been set up.
- After this one-time activation, you will receive an overview of the activated dashboards in Power BI.
- The dashboards are now available within myMIP.
Common problems and reports #
There are a number of screens that you may see when consulting the dashboards if access to the dashboards has not been successful.
Dashboard not visible #
You cannot select the desired dashboard within myMIP, or the dashboard is not visible and an alternative descriptive web page is displayed.
The dashboard itself is not activated within myMIP. There are two possible reasons for this:
- The dashboard has not (yet) been activated within myMIP.
- The connection from the dashboard to myMIP has been lost. Please contact us so that this connection can be restored.
Request access from the author #
After logging in via your Power BI account within myMIP to view the dashboards, you will receive a message asking you to request access from the author:
In this case, the Power BI account you are trying to log in with does not have access to the dashboards.
- Verify that the account used is indeed the Power BI account for which access to the dashboards has been requested.
- If access has not yet been requested, please do so as described under Obtaining access to the dashboards.
Content not available #
After logging in via your Power BI account within myMIP to view the dashboards, you will receive a message stating that the content is not available.
In this case, the Power BI account has indeed been granted access to the dashboards within myMIP, but there is no Power BI Pro license on this account.
